Privacy policy
Last updated: 13 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data EliteRankeds (the Discord bot and the website https://rankeds.elitestorm.es) processes, why, for how long, and how you can exercise your rights.
1. Contact
- Contact email: [email protected]
- Discord: https://discord.elitestorm.es
2. What data we process
If you play on a server that uses the bot:
- Your Discord user ID, your display name and your avatar, as Discord shows them.
- Your queue activity: queues you join, matches, team, attendance confirmations, votes, results and Elo.
- Warnings and sanctions for not showing up to a match.
If you are server staff: your Discord ID when you use administration commands (for example, setting a result), which is kept in an audit log.
From the Discord server: its ID, name, icon and language.
If you visit the website: there are no accounts or sign-ups. The server keeps technical logs (IP address, date, requested page and browser) for security and operation. Cookies are explained in the cookie policy.
We do not ask for or store your email, your password or any payment details.
3. Purposes and legal basis
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Organizing queues and matches, calculating Elo and enforcing server rules (warnings and sanctions) | Legitimate interest in providing the service that the Discord server has added and that you use voluntarily |
| Publishing rankings and profiles on the website and in the public API | Legitimate interest: public rankings are the main function of the service |
| Security, abuse prevention and technical operation | Legitimate interest |
| Showing advertising and measuring its performance (Google AdSense) | Your consent, which you give and manage through the cookie notice |
4. Public data
Rankings, profiles and match histories are public: anyone can see them on the website and query them through the public API. Your display name, your avatar and your statistics are shown. Your Discord ID is never published. If you do not want to appear, you can object (section 7).
5. How long we keep it
- Game data: as long as the Discord server uses the bot, or until you ask for it to be deleted.
- Database backups: 14 days, on a rolling basis.
- Technical logs: the minimum time needed for security, and they are deleted on a rolling basis.
6. Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. The following providers are involved, each with its own safeguards:
- Hosting: the provider of the server that runs the bot, the API and the website.
- Cloudflare, as a delivery and protection network for the website and the API.
- Discord, where your name and avatar come from. Discord is an independent controller of its own data.
- Google (AdSense), if you accept advertising. See how Google uses data.
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area (for example, in the United States), with safeguards such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you can request access, rectification or erasure of your data, object to its processing or to appearing in the public rankings, restrict it or request its portability, by writing to [email protected]. Include your Discord name and the server. We will reply within one month.
If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) (aepd.es).
8. Minors
The service runs inside Discord, which requires a minimum age depending on the country. We do not process more data about minors than what Discord already shows on servers that use the bot.
9. Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above. Significant changes will be announced on the website.
